Accessibility Statement

Habib Obeid Web Foundations ("HOWF") wants every visitor to be able to read, navigate and use this website, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is not an add-on for us: this site is our own proof of craft, and we hold it to the same standard we hold client work.

This website is designed and engineered to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549.

Measures engineered into the site include: text contrast meeting or exceeding AA ratios across the dark and ivory surfaces; full keyboard operability with visible focus and a skip-to-content link; descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; programmatic labels on every form field; touch targets sized for motor accessibility; a correct document language for each of the languages the site ships in, with right-to-left layout where the language requires it; and respect for the "reduce motion" preference: visitors who enable it are shown still imagery in place of animation.

The interactive globe on our About pages is a visual enhancement; the information it conveys (the regions and markets we serve) is also available as plain text on the same page.

The homepage uses ambient background motion. It is decorative, sits behind the content, and is disabled automatically for visitors who prefer reduced motion.

If you are in the European Union and believe we have not addressed your concern, you may also contact the market surveillance authority responsible for the European Accessibility Act in your member state.

We test accessibility as part of engineering this site, with automated checks and manual keyboard and screen-reader passes, and we review this statement at least annually.
