Habib Obeid Web Foundations ("HOWF", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through https://www.thehowf.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to enquiries you send us; client engagements are governed additionally by the contract for that engagement.

Information you provide: when you submit our contact form or request a strategy call, we collect your name, company, work email, indicative budget and the details of your enquiry.

Information collected automatically: standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring source, used in aggregate to understand and improve the site.

We do not knowingly collect special-category personal data, and we ask that you not include it in free-text fields.

To respond to your enquiry, qualify it, and schedule a strategy call.

To operate, secure and improve the website and measure its performance.

To meet legal, accounting and security obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data on the basis of your consent (where given), our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and operating the site, and compliance with legal obligations.

The cookie bar at the bottom of the site offers three choices. "Accept all cookies" allows anonymous page analytics (Vercel Web Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics) and speed measurement (Vercel Speed Insights); "Accept partial cookies" allows speed measurement only; "Reject all cookies" allows neither. All three tools are cookieless: they store nothing on your device and do not identify you. "Cookie settings" in the footer brings the bar back to change your choice.

Whatever you choose, the site keeps a few strictly necessary items: NEXT_LOCALE (the language you read in, deleted when you close the browser), howf_consent (your cookie choice, 6 months), howf_pink_october_closed (only in October, in your browser tab, if you close the awareness banner; cleared when you close the tab), and Cloudflare Turnstile spam protection on the contact form. None is used for advertising or tracking.

We share data only with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, analytics, email and CRM) under contracts that limit their use of it to providing those services.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to evaluate and pursue a potential engagement and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

To exercise any right, email info@thehowf.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We apply administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but security is engineered into how we build and operate.

We operate globally and may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
